Creighton Bassett and Roy Patterson co-founded Fitz Roy Capital to pursue differentiated alternative investments with like-minded, long-term oriented partners. Together they have directed more than $1 billion across direct investments, private equity, venture capital, and other alternative investment asset classes.
Creighton serves as Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Fitz Roy Capital. Creighton spent five years with the Schusterman Family Office headquartered in Tulsa. There he was responsible for sourcing and performing due diligence on alternative investment opportunities in addition to overseeing a $1 billion+ portfolio of private investments. Prior to that Creighton was with Tenaska, an Omaha based privately held energy company.
Roy serves as Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Fitz Roy Capital. Roy’s history includes ten years working closely with businesses that were entrepreneurial, investor led or family owned. He has extensive experience with private equity and venture capital firms. Roy previously worked at McCarthy Capital Corporation, an Omaha based private equity firm, and CVA, a Denver based boutique investment bank.
